Since my last couple posts have been too long for my liking, I'm keeping it short and sweet. LMFAO. Miami-based electrocrunk band. Yes, that's what they call their genre of music. They seem to be into the scene style of appearance as well, but that's another subject for another day. Their most popular song to date is 'I'm in Miami, Bitch!' A super-synced song with a better bass line than the usual alternative song. And it's as catchy as anything else right out now.
Is 'I'm in Miami, Bitch!' a party anthem set to sweep the charts? It is not. Mostly because the beat is hardcore annoying to me. I love them for what they're doing - it's most certainly original. But it's not that good. It's like someone put Pitbull on a UltraViolet Sounds instrumental. Electro-raunchy should be the real genre. But anyway - I find its potential to be more than a regional sound questionable. Listen and be the judge.
