By no means am I the authority on anything about country music. I'm growing to like it and I've been opening my music collection to more of it.
So I think it says something when a person - new to country - ends up becoming attached to an act. It might be because they're waaay more pop than country, but whatever. Gloriana - currently on tour with Taylor Swift, but don't let that deter you if you can't stand Swift - is a country/acoustic band. They're a breakthrough group - half male, half female - and they harmonize beautifully.
The very, very first single, "Wild At Heart," is just great and I embedded it up there so you could experience the greatness. I don't any other word to describe it as. The opening beat pulls you in and the sing-a-long chorus gives the illusion that they would be even better live.
